While serving in the military special forces, failure was not an option and accomplishment was everything. I attribute much of my life success to having coaches and accountability partners. Not just any coach or accountability partner, but those who I believed really could help me get to the next level. During my time serving as a support element to Special Forces. I saw one of the highest divorce rates and heard some of the most heart-wrenching stories about failed marriages and relationships.
It’s been said the divorce rate is as high as 90% on the Navy SEAL teams.
That is why I started my business and named it Accountability Partners LLC. I understand the importance of being reliable and someone who can be counted on in times of need. Whether it was a Soldier who had life issues, a command who needed someone they could count on to get the job done, a wife who needed her husband or four sons who needed a solid role model, I was there.
However, there was no way I could do it alone. I had issues, I had ideas, and I had goals, that I needed someone there to push me when I did not feel like pushing myself.
Aside from my own personal and professional development. I have taken a deep passion for helping others to personally and professionally develop. As a servicemember pending retirement after 20 years of honorable service. I have experienced lackluster military services that are so overloaded, it takes weeks to months to get appointments. In addition, an operations tempo so high, one could not even imagine taking care of themselves. Regardless, of whether one served an initial term in the military or pursued a full career. Without the right coaching and accountability partners along the journey. One is sure to come under some heavy opposition from life. It is at that time we either have reliable people in our corner or we are left to defend our positions alone.

An accountability partner is someone who going to check up on your well-being, check-in to make sure you are doing the things you need to be doing to accomplish the task or goal you said you wanted to accomplish. Just as we were pushed in the military to thrive. That desire to be pushed does not go away upon exit from the military. As a matter of fact, I believe the desire to be pushed grows upon exit, because unless you have a family, there is no team around us constantly to count on us to do our part. We lose that focus and purpose we once had in the military. Therefore, we try to overcompensate or fill that void with harmful substances, or whatever else we can find to pacify the void.

Our objective is to keep the servicemember focused and goal-oriented. Additionally, we understand how it important it is to have a coach in our corner, helping us navigate and acclimate us to the corporate world and its mentality.
