After graduating from BUD/S and serving on an East Coast team, I've known every reason why not to marry a team operator.  I mean, think about all the deployments around the world, training from one state to another, and the fear of that midnight knock on the door.  But with all that, here are seven reasons you may want to consider marrying a Navy SEAL.

The truth is, there are cons, and frankly it's not easy being married to a SEAL.  But there are also pros.  In fact, many of them.  Buckle up for a bird's-eye view of the triumphs and tribulations of this lifestyle, where raw honesty takes center stage.

If you do marry a SEAL, remember you can't tough it out alone; success comes from mixing stubborn determination, strategic adjustments, and genuine human connection.
